nice double at evens...

Arsenal to Lyon (Eng League Cup & Ligue 1)

- Gunners using a top side vs L2 Bradford to reach the semis. Something like 65 english teams in b/w where these two currently are placed in EPL and L2...
- Lyon 11-0-0 home all time vs Nancy...sitting top of table while Nancy are winless in 4 months

1u to win 1u

thu Club World Cup

Rayados/Chelsea over 2.5 risk 2u to win 1.65u
- Rayados great offensive ability against a pretty average Blues defense. Chelsea started knocking in the goals these past 2 weeks and should have a field day against Monterrey's youngish, smallish back 4

Arsenal down 0-1 to Bradford...an "elite" Premier League side should never be losing to a fourth tier squad, period. Arsenal should just be ashamed of their play these days.

Arsenal have reached another new low. LOL.

I just saw the score. Had to see if they had 3 red cards but Arsenal are at full strength.

LMAO. Hats off to Brad City

ask an ye shall receive....this guy is classic...Incredibly, Wenger defended his side after skipper Thomas Vermaelen missed the last spot-kick

He said: “I cannot fault the effort of my team. It was a difficult and slippery pitch that we had to contend with. We gave a lot to this game.”

This is incredible. Arsenal played on a bumpy slippery pitch and Brad City played on a flat carpet of grass. This is unfair.

What I can't get over is the sleeping bag they gave Wenger to wear in place of a coat or jacket on a cold frigid, slippery night. LOL.

Incredible gap in talent but the Gunners lose. Tough one to live down. No silverware again this season and No RVP to mop up for Wenger.

incredible he would applaud the effort of the 4th richest club in the world unable to put a single shot on goal for 70 minutes against a team playing in the 4th division. pitch was in great shape they just simply got outplayed and outhustled by, ahemm, bradford city.

thanks to his crew i sit -1.5u with the larger bet pending on monterrey over

adding one out of france:

Brest +.5 1u to win .74u

since promotion in 2010 Brest has gained at least a point in 36 of 45 home matches (80%) including 2 of 2 vs Montpellier. Away team lost a ton from last year and now just a midtable side with a 2-3-6 (won 2 of 11 away) road record in all competitions. Only 2 away wins were against teams below Brest including Nancy who have 1 win this year

why let a guy that only scores with his head kick a penalty is beyond me....maybe he scores in training but there was no reason to need pks.....this might be the lowest point of me being an arsenal fan. losing the carling years ago was bad but at least we were in the top 3 of the epl. If we get nothing in jan. transfer window it will be because no one wants to play for arsene or we still want to keep all the money. Either way time for a coach to go in peace and if we don't spend we will be the next liverpool or worse....still in shock losing to bradford.......

How crazy that Arsenal loses possibly the most shocking result I can remember and now Lyon losing to Nancy in the 80th minute as well.... 11-0-0 at home all time about to go by the wayside.

[h=1]Humiliating! Wenger 'should be worried' and Walcott is on his way to United, reckons Ian Wright[/h]12 Dec 2012 15:34'You’ve got to look at Arsène Wenger and everything that’s going wrong, there’s major problems' says Arsenal legend

Troubling times: Wenger is under more pressure than ever before

Arsenal legend Ian Wright claims that last night's shock defeat by lowly Bradford is the greatest humiliation suffered by Arsene Wenger since he joined the club - and he can see Theo Walcott leaving for Manchester United.
Wright maintains that he 'wouldn't like to see him (Wenger) go' but also claims that the under-pressure manager 'should be worried' about his future.
Speaking of the Carling Cup upset on Absolute Radio, he said: "Why they were putting in the ball in from the wings with no-one in the box I don’t know, but yes I think in the grand scheme of things, when you look at the team that he’s put out, yes it’s humiliating.
"They used 14 players last night Arsenal and 13 of the 14 were full internationals and what frightens me about it is Wenger has said that he’s not embarrassed by the loss.
"You’ve got to look at Arsène Wenger and everything that’s going wrong, there’s major problems.
"It’s one of those where I think that he should be worried about his future, but at the same time if he wasn’t worried about his future he wouldn’t be human. The fact is something’s got to give, the fans are livid."

However, Wright claims he wouldn't like to see the Frenchman leave the Emirates.
"I wouldn’t like to see him go, I’d like to see him bring people in that he’s going to listen to.
The former England international also admits he can imagine contract rebel Theo Walcott following Robin van Persie to Manchester United.
"It would be a major loss, because I think that when you look at Theo for me singlehandedly against Reading he brought them back into the game and I feel that if Theo was playing last night, whatever people want to say about him I think he would have done something in the game.

"I feel that if Manchester United are genuinely in for Theo...then Theo Walcott with his pace, with his ability, with the fact that he’s got a thick skin. Theo, he could take stick. I think that if Manchester United are in that’s it he’s gone."
"Theo Walcott he’s at Arsenal, he’s been there for as long as he’s been there, I think that he’s not really improved too much as a player. He’s got bigger, he’s got faster, he scores goals and this and that yes, but for me he’s got the opportunity to go somewhere like Manchester United and like I said with Robin van Persie why would you stay?
"Like I’ve been saying to Arsenal fans on Twitter, the ones I’ve told to take their laces and belt away from them, it’s one of those things where it comes around in circles. Arsenal’s a massive, great football club, I’ve been there and it will turn round.
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola has revealed that Arsenal would be his first choice should he return to management in the Premier League.

if that is true about pep g. i would think arsenal would be crazy not to jump on it....we already play barca jr style football and maybe some big names well play for pep. If Pep comes in I think he would demand more spending because no one can coach chamakh or arshavin. Arshavin to zenit in january PLEASE. Nice article though....

pep is a genius. wouldn't mind if he took over for sir alex for sure

gunners put themselves in a shit position with walcott. you either let him leave for free after a trophy-less 12/13 or take a bargain basement price of 5-7M pounds in january. reminds me of how the pirates do business. would love to offload ashley young straight up for him :)

Brest 1-2 -1u now -2.5u midweek. if chelsea match doesn't go over tomorrow will be my worst week since the spring.
